For more than 20 years, Epley Research & Consulting has helped clients gain a better understanding of their customer.
Our president, Stephen W. Epley, originally founded the company in 1987 as Epley Marketing Services, Inc. Steve began his career as an instructor after earning his doctorate in psychology from the University of Iowa. He taught at several colleges and universities, but traded the title of college professor for research consultant when he recognized the great need of businesses to connect with their customers.
Epley’s current methodology and practices remain strongly influenced by Steve’s background as both professor and psychologist, and he still views his work helping companies build strong relationships with their customers as teaching (or even a form of counseling, if you will).
